Jake Munns, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Jake was born and raised in Rexburg, ID, where he grew up on his family’s dairy farm. Growing up in a large family, Jake is one of six children. Jake attended and graduated from Madison High School where he participated in football and baseball, his two favorite sports. After high school, Jake attended BYU-Idaho and ISU, where he would then complete the Physical Therapist Assistant Program in 2016. Jake decided to stay in Pocatello to begin work as a PTA and is now excited to continue his career at PTSI. Jake’s love of sports is what sparked his interest for the  field of physical therapy. Being a competitive athlete, he experienced his share of injuries and time in the physical therapy clinic. Jake decided to pursue a career in physical therapy so that he  could learn to take care of his own body if an injury were to happen, as well as help others return to their previous lifestyles after an injury or surgery.

Jake and his loving wife Hali have been blessed with two children and thoroughly enjoy family activities and making memories with them. Jake is a dedicated protector and mentor who blends his devotion to his family with the teamwork, passion, and energy of the sporting world. While Jake is a family man by day, he is an active athlete by night. Among playing and spectating sports, Jake enjoys camping, hunting, and fishing with his family.
