Marissa Chase, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Marissa was born in North Dakota, but attended high school in Boise, Idaho. After graduating high school, she moved to Pocatello to attend ISU. She graduated with her Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science in 2018, and after a year off she returned to ISU to obtain her Associate’s of Applied Science in Physical Therapy Assistant in 2021.

Marissa first experienced physical therapy in 2014 after knee injuries, and from there her passion grew. She was fascinated with how the human body worked, and how exercising can help keep pain at bay. Since then, she’s enjoyed learning as much as she can, and apply her knowledge to help patient return to their daily lives.

In her free time, Marissa enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Marissa enjoys running, skiing, biking, hiking, golfing and crocheting. In the summer, you can catch Marissa running biking around various areas of Pocatello, or golfing at the country club.
