In my search for a physical therapist, I chose PTSI because they had early morning and evening hours that worked with my work schedule. I started seeing Scott (and his assistant, Chandra) 2 weeks after having extensive shoulder surgery. When I started, I was still only able to lift my injured shoulder/ arm by using my other arm to assist the movement. After 11 weeks of therapy, averaging 2x/week, and doing my home exercises, I am back to no restrictions from my doctor. I injured my shoulder at the gym and my goal was to get back to my normal gym routine as soon as possible, be able to ride my motorcycle, and be able to paddle board this summer. I still have a little range of motion to work on and I am working on rebuilding the strength back to what it was before my surgery, but I feel like my expectations were met. I am back to the gym doing everything I was before, just at a lower intensity working my way back up to the same level of intensity that I was at before my injury. As far as PTSI staff, the front desk staff are wonderful and polite. Scott and Chandra are knowledgeable and great to work with. And all the techs who assisted were fun, nice, and great to work with as well. I had a very positive experience with PTSI, and I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great physical therapy experience.

Who wants to go to therapy and get stretched and pulled and probably sore. That was my thought as I approached PTSI for my first visit. From the moment I entered the front door any thoughts I had of an unpleasant time disappeared. Paula greeted me with a warm and sincere smile and was the perfect front door for an experience that was professional, effective, and dare I say, pleasant. Everyone cared, participated, and followed up on my therapy. Scott and Chandra were teriffic in moving me toward recovery. Brook and Bridger worked hard to get me ready for each session and then send me home feeling better than when I arrived. Cory has a well trained and qualified staff and provided a rehab experience that made me want to get better. From the front door to the boss's office this is a quality organization.

PTSI is the best place for therapy. I have had therapy at other places before and I would dread going. I never felt that here. Everyone is so nice and knowledgeable. I love the AlterG Treadmill. It was great to be able to run on when I was injured. I really appreciate everyone who helped me feel better.

Physical Therapy Specialists of Idaho has given me hope and pain relief in only 12 visits. I have enjoyed my physical therapy at this facility because they are efficient, caring, friendly, upbeat and the facility is very clean. It has been a pleasant experience for me. I choose this facility because of an advertisement that I saw in the Pine Ridge Mall and because the location is convenient for me. William Scott Harris, PT, DPT, from my first visit with him indicated, he could help with my pain. He has indeed proven his word. His team, including Chandra Price, PTA has been caring, encouraging and helpful in teaching me the tools for my pain relief. I have learned to enjoy my home exercises and complete them in a pleasant location in my home. It is “my time” for approximately (2) 15-minute sessions a day. I believe that we are responsible for our own recovery and continuing my home exercises is crucial for my pain relief. I suffered with chronic back pain due to crushed spine areas for years. When the pain got so extreme (had to use a cane to walk) I consulted with my family doctor. I believed that my quality of life was gone and that I did not want to continue life with this pain. My doctor prescribed physical therapy at the facility of my choice. It took me a month to gain the courage to make my first appointment. I am so grateful now that I took that first step into physical therapy. It has changed my life. I have gone from a pain level of 8 to dare I say, some days a level 1! Amazing! I no longer fear my future will be full of pain. I cannot say enough good about Scott Harris and his team. I would recommend Physical Therapy Specialists of Idaho to anyone that may find physical therapy helpful for them.

I came to PT with great concern that PT as well as any exercise would increase my pain. I already had to take pain medication for excessive pressure. Also I had seen the PTSI “ADS” and wondered how they could help a 72 year old lady with pain and lack of wanting to exercise because of pain. Corey had assured me that he could work with me and take care of the pain. The first day I was greeted warmly by the reception gals as well as other staff members, not only just the people but the facility had a “non hurried” atmosphere. The second day after PT I awoke in immediate pain back down the leg. Corey said come in and lets work on your pain. It was not even my appointment day. He carefully worked with me in a very modified way. I truly left feeling a lot less pain and by the next day I was able to move much easier. I learned walking can actually ease the pain. Core building doesn’t mean a “6 pack” like the youngsters have but is necessary for all around physical health. I have been to physical therapy places before but never had learned practical way to continue the exercises at home. Everyone here cares about your pain and success like a friend. I will come back here with necessary. Thanks everyone here my life has been returned to happiness.

I have been to several physical therapists. Was not sure what to expect. On the day of my first eval I met with Mitch. He was interested in what I had done and what my expectations were. I told I did not want to just be put through the process. I wanted to be challenged. That he did. My program/therapy was exactly what I wanted. My progress was amazing. I can not say enough about how pleased I am. Could not ask for better. I have and will continue to recommend Physical Therapy Specialists of Idaho. Everyone here is amazing, caring and helpful.

I have been suffering from back pain for years, had several rounds of injections and fitted for a back brace. At my last doctors appointment he discussed surgery and wanted to schedule for a very serious surgery. At the time my Mother was going to physical therapy at PTSI and I couldn't believe the progress she was making. I was scared to have the surgery so my AMAZING Mom put me in the car and brought me to Physical Therapy Specialists of Idaho. I met with Scott and he explained how he could help. My first appointment I was very cautious and everyone was making sure I wasn't pushing myself too hard. But after that appointment I could tell a difference!!! Muscles that I was afraid to use started to get stronger and my back pain decreased. I can not tell you how much better I feel and how grateful I am for the entire staff at PTSI. I was sad to graduate, but know if I need anything they will welcome me back with open arms. Once you walk through their doors you are a member of their family and they truly care about you and your success. I can not thank them enough for giving me my life back. I didn't realize how much I had stopped doing because of the constant pain I was in. I would give them 100 stars for their dedication, knowledge and the results I have. Thank you again ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

If you are searching for a physical therapy provider, search no more. These guys are great! They kept therapy fun and time would fly by. The atmosphere is laid back yet very professional and the different treatments are creative and effective. The therapists have different certifications in specialized areas. I was referred to my therapist based on the specific training he has in working with the spine. I was referred to him by one of the sop sports doctors in Pocatello! I was a runner for 25 years, so I have tried different PT places over the years of falling apart and this is the one place that actually made a difference!

Let me begin by saying that my experience with PTSI was outstanding from when I first entered the clinic to when I finally left. Even the T-shirt was cool! Although I spent most of my time with Corey and Steen everyone else was friendly and there for me when I needed it, including Holly and her sweet smile! Corey and Steen were both professional and encouraging and knew how to push me just a bit further each time I was there and they did it with care and humor. I have come a long way since physical therapy, mostly because of PTSI. Dr. Altenburg put me at the tip of the bell curve for how quickly I am recovering. I would definitely recommend PTSI to anyone needing physical therapy. I am regaining strength and flexibility and my range of motion is slowly getting better and better. I walk, workout, and ride my bike. I will be riding in Spinderella in a couple of weeks. I expect to ride at least 50 miles and am excited about it, considering that it has only been 4 months since surgery. PTSI certainly met my needs and exceeded my expectations! I can’t thank you enough for what you did for me!

This is my second time here at PTSI and I love this place! Everyone here is so friendly! I really like working with Mike! When I wasn’t doing some of the exercises correctly, he never made me feel dumb unlike other places I have been to. Corey was also very nice to work with. He would explain everything so that I understood. There was never a person that I didn’t like to work with. I would recommend this place to friends and family. I have been coming here for so long that PTSI has become like my family. I am so sad to be leaving. Thank you to everyone! PTSI has played a huge part in my recovery.

I have really been satisfied with this clinic. All of the therapists have gone above and beyond the call of duty to help me achieve success with my knee. I received personal treatment from Corey, who was great in seeing that my treatments were completed properly and to his satisfaction. There were times when other therapists were involved with my treatment and Corey always had them report that everything was done. The clinic is very friendly and professional. I never once felt intimidated or was made to fell I was not important. I have had treatments at other physical therapy places and recommend it as the number one place for treatment.

PTSI has an amazing positive, encouraging atmosphere! The staff are encouraging and supportive and patiently worked to build my strength and confidence. They helped me work through both physical and mental blocks with their careful coaching and support. I feel that I am empowered to do things I could not do before. Their understanding of body mechanics, explanations of what was needed and help doing exercises with the correct form is absolutely wonderful. Corey, Tyler, Jacci and Holly all worked with me and made me feel so welcomed and supported and encouraged. The fun, friendly team atmosphere is great and made it fun. Their support and encouragement helped me immensely! Thank you so much!

All my life I have been associated with customer service and this is the best place I’ve experienced in my 40 years! I believe the healing process is enhanced by the attitude of every person in this place. The smiles and positive attitude are wonderful. All the statements on the wall are practiced here. I would recommend this place even if you don’t need treatment. To Mike: You’re my Hero!m

I never thought I would recover from my collision. I was ready to live with severe pain in my back and hips. After going to another physical therapist and not being satisfied, I came upon PTSI. Not a day went by that I regretted the decision to be treated by them. I enjoyed coming in and being treated by the staff. Amazing is not enough to describe the treatment and knowledge they have provided me. Because of PTSI, I am now confident to move on with my life in the most positive and close to normal way I can. Thank you, PTSI!

I came to PTSI after being in a car accident. Due to the injuries I received, I had nerve damage which affected the use of my leg. Since beginning services with Scott, I have been able to improve my pain and nerve issues with simple exercises and stretches taught during my therapy sessions instead of taking more medications or more invasive treatments such as surgery. All staff is highly professional and have amazing personalities. Front office staff, the techs, assistants, and the therapists are all very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend receiving services through PTSI.
